Week 6: Value proposition

Having spent the last 4 weeks understanding the problem space, the team switched gears this week towards developing a value proposition for our target customer - project developers. A value proposition is a promise of value to be delivered. There are two great resources from CXL that determine a value proposition should offer three things:

  1. Relevancy: Explain how your product solves customers’ problems or improves their situation.
  2. Quantified value: Deliver specific benefits.
  3. Differentiation: Tell the ideal customer why they should buy from you and not from the competition.

Project Developer Interviews

We conducted 7 interviews that included project developers & industry experts from around the globe. As always, a huge thank you to all of those who participated with their time and provided such valuable insights.

Our value proposition

We have now shifted our research focus from exploring project developer frictions, to begin testing how our existing value proposition resonates with this target customer. Insights from these discussions are starting to take shape in the form of a concept pitch deck - please reach out if you would like to hear more on these developments or would like to provide feedback.
